John Andrew Buchanan

BUCHANAN, John A. - {from The Prairie Grove Herald} Mr. John A. Buchanan died Wednesday morning, May 31st, 1911 at 8 o’clock at his home near Viney Grove, after a short illness of typhoid fever, complicated with heart trouble. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, U.S.A. of this place, where the funeral services were conducted at 10 o’clock this morning by Rev. E.M. Freyschlag, assisted by Rev. F.A. Bradshaw. The burial was made in the Prairie Grove cemetery,. The Masonic fraternity, of which the deceased was a member, conducted their burial ceremony at the grave. [The Springdale News 6/9/1911]
