Orin Brewster Died This
Morning.
After an illness of about three weeks, Mr. Orin Brewster quietly passed away at 2 o'clock this morning, at the home of Mr. R. A. Stewart in Prairie Grove, from the effects of paralysis. In his death a large circle of friends have been sorely grieved by the breaking of a close personal friendship.
Oria Brewster was a man who, by his strict integrity sterling character won and held the esteem of all who knew him.
He was a son of Mrs. Elizabeth Brewster, and of the late L. Brewster. He was born at Cane Hill) Feb 20, 1869, and with the exception of a few short periods of time spent in other states, this county has always been his home. lle lived a quiet, unpretentious life, and was void of offense toward anyone. He was an enthusiastic member of Prairie Grove Lodge of Knights of Pythias, and was very popular with its members. Nov. 24. 1891, he was married to Miss Susie Cunningham, who died about 17 years ago.
The deceased is survived by his mother, one daughter, Mrs. Chas. McClellan of Cane Hill, and five brothers and three sisters, Dr. J. H. Brewster of Prairie Grove, Bood Brewster of Cane Hill, Arthur Brewster of Dayton, Wash., Hugh Brewster of Washington, D. C., and Rev. Frank Brewster of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. A. L. Patterson of Tahlequah, Okla., Mrs. Ross Moore of Claremore, Okla., and Mrs. Doll Fain of Day- ton, Wash., all of whom were present at the funeral, except one brother. Hugh, of Washington City.
The funeral services was held at the Cumberland Presbyterian church at 4 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. F. A. Bradshaw, assisted by Rev. F. R. Hamilton, and the burial was made in the Prairie Grove cemetery. The pallbearers were members of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, Messrs. E. C. Carl. J. M. Harris on, J. C. Parks, H. B. Collier, D. N. McCormick and M. L. Hildebrand.
BREWSTER, infant-The infant daughter of Orin Brewster of Prairie Grove died recently.
