Kay Lynn Starr Age 86, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 25, 1938 in Odessa, Texas, the daughter of Clarence P. "Shorty" and Eva VeLma (Ward) Cates. Kay achieved several degrees including her Masters of Social Work from the University of Arkansas, Bachelor of Arts: Sociology from Avila College, as well as Massage Therapist from Kansas City University, and a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Barkley Cates and one daughter Amber Starr. Survivors include two sons Jason Starr and wife Jackie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Tony Star and wife Barbara of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter Angela Beauchamp and husband Alan of Farmington, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren Angelo, James Alan, and Starr Beauchamp, Joshua Reynolds, Jocelyn Forest, Crystal Sharpley, Chelsy Jones, Jourdine Kell, Jeremy Clark, Robbie Warren, Gia Starr, and Amy Thorson; six great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 25th, 2024, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
