Luginbyhl, 90, of Bethany, went peacefully to meet His Lord December 19, 2001. He was born July 31, 1911 in Stinnett, TX, to Oliver W. and Cleo Luginbyhl. Carl married Dorothy Brannon in 1937, who preceded him in death in 1975. He married Juanita Goforth Winfrey in 1977. Carl retired with Phillips Petroleum Co in 1963, retiring a second time with Pinkerton Security in 1970. He was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Juanita, two daughters: Mrs. Myra Schubert of Bethany, Mrs. Rosa McCroskey of Indonesia; three stepsons: Jim Winfrey of Topeka, Jerry Winfrey of Oklahoma City, David Winfrey of Bethany; one brother, Robert Ivan Luginbyhl of Borger, TX; one sister, Carolyn Glover of Tucson, AZ, four grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, December 22 at 2:00 at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, with interment following at Bethany Cemetery.
