He was born March 16, 1945 in Leach, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Earl and Ruth Plumlee Lawrence. Dallas served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert "Bob" Lawrence. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Carter Lawrence of the home; one son, Jeremy Ray Kelly of Gentry, Arkansas; one daughter, Keli Shepherd of Massachusetts; one step son, James William "Jim" Christian of Westville, Oklahoma; two step- daughters, Pamela Dawn Christian of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Terry Lynn Bracken of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five brothers, David Lawrence and wife Joyce of Siloam Springs, Charles Lawrence of Westville, Oklahoma, John Lawrence of Cincinnati, Arkansas, Roger Lawrence and wife Dee of Bentonville, Arkansas and Eddie Lawrence and wife Mary of Chewey, Oklahoma; two sisters, Naomi McReynolds and husband Dale of Dutch Mills, Arkansas and Rita Randolph and husband John of Cincinnati, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 - 2:00 P.M. at Summers Baptist Church. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Arkansas, there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.
