Francis M. McConnell 84, a resident of Huntington Park, California, passed away December 8, 2006 in Huntington Park. He was born February 23, 1922 at Waurika, Oklahoma, the son of Francis and Mary M. Jennings McConnell. Francis was a graduate of the Lincoln High School. He was a Veteran of WW II. Francis was preceded in death by four half sisters, Glynne Richey, Ruby Thomas, Mae Fowler and Myrtle Coffee; two half brothers, Jackie and Rayburn Fraysher. Survivors include his wife, Margaret J. McConnell of the home; a one-adopted son, Greg McConnell of Coquille, Oregon; one brother, Kenneth McConnell of Larned, Kansas; two nephews, Richard McConnell of Purcell, Oklahoma and Harry Clyde Richey and his wife, Janet of Shelbyville, Indiana; one niece, Linda Bottoms and her husband Larry Joe of Lincoln, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 18, 2006 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery at Lincoln, Arkansas.
