Delia Rhodes

When John and Delia were marred on his 21st birthday, he had worked for some time for a Mrs. Simco near Mountainburg. She drove a team with a farm wagon to Van Buren to buy their housekeeping articles. Delia's family were Irish on her mother's side. Her grandmother was of an Irish family named Sweet. Their ancestors had iron works in Ireland.
