A. J. McAdams 77, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away July 7, 2008 at his home near Lincoln. He was born March 4, 1931, at Happy, Texas, the son of W.E. (Mack) and Edna McAdams. A. J. was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother, Flora Bell McAdams, two brothers, W.C. (Bud) McAdams and Curtis McAdams, two sisters, Winnie Lee Manion and Lillian Thurman and one granddaughter, Emma Lea Myers. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Wanda McAdams of the home; four daughters, Nita Calvert of Summers, Arkansas, Carol Morelock and her husband, Bobby of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Becky Carter and her husband, Burl and Patricia Myers and her husband, Troy all of Lincoln, Arkansas; three sisters, Phyllis Allen, Ellen Beal and Carrie Beal all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Gwen Belew, Randy Morelock, Eric Myers and Tara Myers; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Hayden Belew. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held Thursday July 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Bro. Billy Burks officiating with burial in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansa Pallbearers will be Gordon Jr. Bradshaw, Justin Belew, Randy Morelock, Eric Myers, Leroy Allen and Alan Beal.
