Rachel J. Reed 68, of Fayetteville died Nov. 12, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born July 25, 1940, in Prairie Grove to James Harley and Martha Grace Cuzick Layman. She was an employee of Chick-Fil-A and a member of New Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Allen Drane and her first husband, Alvin Drane. Survivors include her husband, Robert Reed; her daughter, Sherry Adkisson of Prairie Grove; two sons, Michael Drane of West Fork and Tracy Drane of Prairie Grove; 11 grandchildren; her great-grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com. The Rev. John Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
