Leo H. Sparks 84, a former resident of Washington County died on July 19, 2006 in Valencia, California. He was born September 10, 1921 near Boxley, Arkansas, the son of Joel and Martha Jane Carlton Sparks. Leo was a former resident of Washington County. He was a veteran of WW II. Leo moved to California, where he work in the Oil Fields. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsa and sister Myrtle Bullington. Survivors include two brothers, Homer Sparks of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Guy Sparks of Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Funeral services were held on July 25, 2006 at Valencia, California.
