Corene S. Read 80 a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away August 19, 2013 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1933 in Cane Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of James Walter and Stella Matthews Grant. She was preceded in death her husband Ed Read; her parents and nine brothers and sisters; Survivors include two sisters, Maudie Phillips and Ellavie Dallas; three sisters in laws, Nina Grant, Margie Grant and Mary Grant; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
