Ervan Beeks 84, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2006 at Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born September 29, 1922 at Bethel Grove, Arkansas the son of Tiff Thomas and Lillie Isabel Rhine Beeks. Ervan was a Christian and had a great love of gardening and the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Hugh Beeks, Ivy Beeks, and Earl Beeks; two sisters, Gracie Kinion and Virgie Pearson. Survivors include his wife, Ella Beeks of the home; two sons, Willard Beeks of Summers, Arkansas, and Carl Beeks of Farmington, Arkansas; two daughters, Barbara Beeks of Farmington, Arkansas, and Thelma Gray of Elm Grove, Louisiana; one brother, Howard Beeks of Farmington, Arkansas; one sister, Margie Grant of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will begin Friday, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2006 - 10:00 A.M. at the Farmington Baptist Church Farmington, Arkansas, with Brother Preston Beeks officiating.
