James C. Remington 81 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away July 7, 2011 at Prairie Grove Health and Rehab in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born April 20, 1930 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Myron William and Millie Marie Brasier Remington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Maple, two brothers, Stanley and Earl Remington and one sister, Annie Marie Easter. Survivors include is sister in law, Bessie Remington of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one step granddaughter, Lavern Phillips of Cove City, Arkansas; step son, Aaron Gage of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with L.V. Vickery officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
