Pamela Jane Abshier 67 a resident of Lincoln passed away November 8, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 27, 1948 in Lincoln, the daughter of Alfred Ernest and Jennavie Cox Whinery. She retired from the Lincoln Post Office after 31 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Abshier, her mother and father. Survivors include two sons, Jason Abshier of Lowell, Arkansas and Rodney Abshier and his wife Tracy of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother, Vance Whinery of Fayetteville; two grandchildren Jacque and Joseph Abshier. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.
