MRS. IDA BELLE RATLIFF Prairie Grove - October 1 - Mrs. Ida Belle Ratliff, 72, died yesterday afternoon at a local hosptial. She was a native of Durham, but had lived here for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Methodist Churchc. Surviving are her husband, Charles Ratliff; two sons, Herbert Ratliff of Tulsa, Okla., and Herman Ratliff of Cushing, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Matthews of Prairie Grove, and three brothers, W.M. Shumate of Farmington, J.B. Shumate of Prairie Grove and D.M. Shumate of Durham. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church by the Rev. Alf Eagon. Burial under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Buria will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. October 1, 1947 - Northwest Arkansas Times
