Dixie Lee Smith daughter of Delmar and Georgia (Logan) Hodges, was born November 2, 1958 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 9 days. She enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving mother and grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Delmar and Georgia Hodges, a daughter: Kimberly Smith, two brothers: Jeffrey Hodges and Delmar Hodges. Dixie is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Brandy Allen and husband James of Stilwell, OK, Zachary Smith and wife Samantha of Westville, OK, 3 grandchildren: Johnathon Hewitt of Stilwell, OK, Nathaniel Allen of Stilwell, OK, Lane Smith of Westville, OK, brother: Clifford Johnson of Cookson, OK, sister: Shelly Curran of Farmington, AR, step parents: Tommy and Marsha Johnson of Cookson, OK, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Roberts Funeral Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Mike Hayes officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
