Edward Carney, 25, a local grocer, died at 9:30 Mond morning to bring to three fatalities which resulted in automobile accident between Fayetteville and Greenland Sunday evening. W. D. Shanks, 50 and Mack Dye, 51, both of West Fork, were killed instantly.
Shanks was found lying face-down in the ditch, about ten feet from the over, head crushed. Carney and Dye were found along the highway a short distance away. Dye's principal injuries we e to his head and Carney's boy was injured. The car was headed south when it over turned from an unestablished cause, coming to rest in an up right position on the side of the shoulder without having left the embankment.
