Earl E. Parks, 81. of Huntsville, died Sunday, December 5, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born October 22, 1895 at Huntsville, the son of John F. and Vadie Powell Parks, he was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sylvia Estep Parks of the home; five sons, Johnny of Springdale, Tommy Robinson of Woburn, Mass., Derald of Huntsville, Cecil of Hindsville, and Jack of Hurst, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Velma Napier, Mrs. Terry Dotson and Mrs. Joyce Roberts, all of Huntsville, Mrs. Carolyn Tice of Farmington, Mrs. Vivian Sutherland of La Habra, Calif., and Mrs. Phyllis Pallack of Monterey Park, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. December 8, at Brashears Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Huntsville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Virgil and Clifton Wood, Raymond Wheat, Roy Barnes, Jack Cutter and Johnny Fowler. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Gifford and Vernon Williams.
