John C. Faulkner, 92, of Huntsville, died Jan 11 in Madison County Hospital. Born June 10, 1881, at Ozark, he was the son of Thomas and Ann McNat Faulkner, a member of the Church of Christ, and was a retired farmer. He was the widower of Vadie Eubanks Faulkner whom he married Sept. 1, 1901. She died Oct. 5, 1966.
Survivors include three sons, Sam Faulkner, Springdale, George Faulkner, Wesley, and John L. Faulkner, Hindsville; four daughters, Mrs. W. E. Vanderpool and Mrs. Jewel Laney of Huntsville, Mrs. Ida Garrett and Mrs. Myrtle Walker of Stockton, Calif.; 36 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning, Jan. 14, at 10:30 in Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel Huntsville, with C. J. Jackson officiating. Burial was in Bohannon Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
