Eugene J. Gene Webb

GENE WEBB, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born December 21, 1924 in Berryville, a son of Artie Jesse and Dove Pearl (Keen) Webb. He departed this life Sunday, November 14, 2004 in his home at the age of 79.

Mr. Webb was a veteran, having served his country with the U.S. Army. Before his retirement he worked as a welder. He was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville.

On April 25, 1994 he was united in marriage with Neva E. Webb who survives him. He is also survived by three daughters, Verona and husband Ken Mercer of Jefferson City, Missouri, Flora Eleen and husband Harry Spann of Harrison, Arkansas and Phyllis Ann and James Edwards of Pollock, Louisiana; one sister, Clara and husband Wayne Bell of Wichita, Kansas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Mae (Corbin) Webb. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ima Jean Webb and step-mother, Ina Jackson Webb.
