Obituary for Donna Lea Bradshaw
Our precious Mother, Sister, Friend, Donna Lea (Bond) Bradshaw passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was born on August 29, 1938 to Mary Lee (Stanberry-Bond) Smith and Bruce Bond in Fayetteville, Arkansas along with sisters Peggy (Bond) Gomez of Fayetteville, Arkansas (and her late husband Frank Gomez); Kay (Bond) Hancock of Fayetteville, Arkansas (and her husband Carol Hancock); and Debbie (Bond) Sawyer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (and her husband John Sawyer); and one aunt, Bobby (Bond) Karnes (and husband Dave Karnes) of Greenland and their daughter Connie (Karnes) Kerr and family of Arlington, Texas.
Donna married Manuel Bradshaw (who passed away on May 18, 2021) on March 4, 1956 and had two children, Charles Bruce Bradshaw of Springdale, Arkansas (wife Donna Welsh-Bradshaw) and Pamela Beth (Bradshaw) Baldridge of Fayetteville, Arkansas (and husband Gary D. Baldridge). They have one grandchild, Ryan Whitney (Bradshaw) Croken, (and her husband Peter Croken) who blessed them with one great-granddaughter whom they adored Ellis Pearl Croken.
Mom was a funny, happy lady that loved to laugh. She had one of those laughs you could pick out in the crowd! She loved to cook and was known for her delicious pies. Being a hairdresser for the family and friends for many years brought her great joy. Momma loved to sing old Gospel songs and play piano by ear when we were growing up. She loved the Lord and her family. She will be very greatly missed, but I know our Daddy was so happy to see her arrive and they shall spend eternity together.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday December 10, 2021 at Baptist Ford Community Church in Greenland, with burial to follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
