Manuel Bradshaw, age 87, of Greenland, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 18, 2021. He was born November 9, 1933 to Gordon and Lena Stout Bradshaw in Hazel Valley, Arkansas. He wed our beautiful mother, Donna Lea Bond Bradshaw March 4, 1955. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Beth Bradshaw Bishop.
He owned and operated Bradshaw Construction Company for many years working for people in our local community. He also had a love for horses from an early age. He calf roped locally with friends in his younger years. He enjoyed Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred Horse Racing, owning and training them for many years. He passed down his love of horses to his children and grandchildren. He served in the US Army, he enlisted on June 23, 1954 and was medically discharged on June 22, 1956.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Lea Bond Bradshaw; one daughter, Pamela Beth Baldridge and her husband Gary of Fayetteville; his son, Charles Bruce Bradshaw and his wife Donna of Springdale; three brothers, Charles Bradshaw and his wife Mary Lou of Greenland, Leon Bradshaw and his wife Alice of Wesley, Arkansas, Gordon Bradshaw Jr. and his wife Ruby of Greenland, Arkansas. He and all of his brothers have been married to the same wonderful ladies all of their lives and he was very proud of that fact. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Ryan Bradshaw Croken and her husband Pete of Fayetteville and one great granddaughter, Ellis Pearl Croken whom he adored.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday May 21, 2021 at the Baptist Ford Community Church with burial to follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
