HOLCOMB, Mary Lou CRAWFORD - News readers, many of whom
are friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Holcomb, will be pained t o learn of the
death of the latter, which occurred Friday at their home in Fayetteville
and all will sympathize deeply with the husband and children in their
great bereavement. Concerning the deceased the Fayetteville Daily says:

at Cane Hill, this county, November 4th, 1870. Died March 12, 1909. She
was married to Bruce Holcomb June 25, 1901. To this union there were

and one brother, Prof. W.A. Crawford of Russellville, Ark., survive her. Mrs.
Holcomb professed faith in Christ and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian
church at Cane Hill at the age of ten years. After removing to this
city in 1893 she became a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church,
now the Central Presbyterian church of this city and remained a worthy,
consistent member until the day of her death. Mrs. Holcomb was of a sweet,
charming disposition and her friends and admirers were numbered by those
who came to know her. She was a student in the University and later a
teacher in the public schools and whether as student, teacher, wife, mother,
daughter, sister or friend she carried sunshine, happiness and efficiency
into all relations in life. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. M.L.
