GRIMSLEY, Cage - {from The Prairie Grove Herald] Mr. Cage Grimsley,
a man about 60 years of age, was found dead in his field where he had been
working near Lincoln yesterday evening. Mr. Grimsley had not been complaining
and had been plowing corn in a field near his home all day. He
returned to his home at noon in his usual good health and in the afternoon
returned to his work in the field. When he failed to return home in the
evening at his usual time the members of his family became alarmed and
went in search of him. His body was found lying under a tree in the shade.
It is supposed he became overheated and sought shelter from the sun in
the shade of the tree, where death overtook him. He is survived by his wife
and several children. [The Springdale News 7/16/1909]
