79, a resident of Cincinnati, Arkansas, passed away March 17, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born July 2, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, the son of Solomon Edward and Mary Magaline Fields Farmer.

Leonard retired from Webb Wheel in 1975.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack Farmer, Cecil Farmer, S.E. Farmer, Walter Farmer and Lester Farmer.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Nadine Farmer of the home; three sons Leonard Leon "Levi" Farmer Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Cincinnati, Arkansas, Jeffery David Sr. and his wife, Kathy of Watts, Oklahoma, and Darrell Wayne Farmer Sr. and his wife Carla of Westville, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sandy Carr of Fayetteville, Arkansas; adopted son, David Bruce Hankins and his wife, Terry of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Earl Russell Farmer and his wife, Donna of Lincoln, Arkansas; one sister, Oletta Austin and her husband, Rev. Jack of Gravette, Arkansas; one sister in law, Millie Farmer of Lincoln, Arkansas; twenty two grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren.
