Anna Jane McWhorter, age 88, of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born on January 28, 1928, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to William Austin and Gladys Jane Wilson Sisemore.
Jane was a die-hard Razorbacks fan. She loved God and her family and always made them her priority. She and her husband, Charles, shared seventy years of marriage together. She also had a great love for traveling.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles McWhorter; her two daughters, Connie Ball and husband David of Fayetteville, and Sheila Kovach and husband Joe of Little Rock; one son, Rick McWhorter and wife Gail of Fayetteville; one sister, Betty Crudup and husband Ken of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Brian Barrows and wife Venitta of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeff McWhorter and wife Melinda of Farmington, David McWhorter and wife Rachel of Little Rock, Kate Spears and husband J.J. of Springdale, Steven McKee and wife Caitlin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Kelsey Davis of Little Rock; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00PM on Monday, December 26, 2016, at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at the Center Street Church of Christ at 310 W Center St, Fayetteville, AR 72701, with interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
