Darlene McReynolds
84 of Springdale, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, January 25, 2021, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born March 25, 1936, in Tulsa, Okla., to Ed and Wynema Jones. Darlene was a member of Cross Church for 49 years.
She was very involved with the youth and went on countless choir tours from coast to coast. She had a passion for youth and so enjoyed opening her home to them. She was a prayer warrior for all and a soul winner. Her last few years she boldly shared her faith to friends and strangers alike.
She dearly loved her family, going to baseball games and seeing Blake play, her church, her friends, her home and sitting on the couch with her puppies, Lola and Gabe watching Hallmark movies, watching the wild birds and feeding the fox. She loved a good laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always kind and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Howard McReynolds; and one brother, Darrell Jones.
Survivors include three daughters, Vikki Parker, and husband, Richard, of Fayetteville, Ark., Lynn Finnell and husband, Bill, of Springdale, Ark., Sandy Salsbury and husband. Terry, of Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
"Mimi" was adored by her grandchildren, Brooke McDonald, and husband, Damon, Ashley Starnes and husband, John, Blake Parker and wife, Jordan, Derek Simpson and wife, Amanda, Dallas Simpson and wife, Ruth, Erin Finnell, and Scott Finnell.
Celebration of her life under the direction of Nelson Berna will be held at Cross Church Springdale, Friday, January 29 at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to Cross Church Missions, 1709 Johnson Road, Springdale, Ark.
