Richard W. "Dick" Kelley
91, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Mr. Kelley was a graduate of Little Rock Senior High School, and attended Little Rock Junior College. He was an Eagle Scout and was a Veteran, serving in the United States Navy during World War II. Before his retirement, he was co-owner of Kelley Brokerage Company, together with his brother, Al Kelley. Mr. Kelley was an avid golfer, sportsman, and thoroughbred race fan.
Mr. Kelley was a widower having been predeceased by his late wife, Virginia Clinton Kelley, who passed away in 1994 and his brother, Al Kelley.
Mr. Kelley is survived by two children, Richard A. Kelley of Little Rock and Kathy J. Farrar of Hot Springs and two step-children, President William Jefferson Clinton of New York and Roger Clinton of Los Angeles, California. His is further survived by his sister-in-law, Nancy Kelley of Little Rock, and by five grandchildren and step-grandchildren, David Kelley, Andy Kelley, Kellye Wulfers Farrar, Lara Ellen Farrar, Chelsea Clinton and Tyler Clinton.
Mr. Kelley?s funeral will be conducted at First Methodist Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007, with the Reverend John Miles officiating. Private burial service will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Following the burial service, a reception will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Mr. Kelley will be lying in state at Gross Funeral Home, 120 Wright?s Lane, Hot Springs, Arkansas, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2007.
Pallbearers are Dr. Robert W. Aspell, Wayne Thomas, Jack Bennie, Steve Arrison, Jack Luginbuel, Bill Stubblefield, Jack Theimer and Jim Hogue
