Frances Maxine Kell
80, a resident of Siloam Springs, passed away December 22, 2013 in Fayetteville. She was born February 26, 1933 at Savoy Arkansas, the daughter of Winfield D. and Ila Mae Blew Holland.
Maxine was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandma. She was a member of the Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs where she was active in the Harvard Sr. Joy Group and she was a well loved nursery worker. She was a 4-H and Extension Homemaker’s Club leader at Savoy. She was a resourceful Homemaker, Expert Cook, Seamstress, Master Gardner, and had a deep faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Wayne Kell. two brothers, Winfield Donald Holland, and Charles Edward Holland and two sisters, Virginia Lee Worley and Verna Mae Keener.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Hester and husband, Chris of Fayetteville, Valerie Macken and husband, Hugh of Carlsbad, California, and Susan Whelton and husband, Phil of Arklow, Ireland; five grandchildren, Travis Hester, Jared Macken, Annettia Macken, Nicolas Macken, and Amy Whelton; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Kendle Hester; three sisters, Ada June Phillips and husband, Ray, Carolyn Sue McDonald and husband, Jerry, Anne Smith and husband, Harold.
The family will receive friends at Luginbuel Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 - 10:00 A.M. at the Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Tad Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas; no graveside services will be held at the cemetery.
