Frances Ilene Taylor, 89, a resident of Farmington, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Fayetteville. She was born February 28, 1931 in Rheas Mill, Arkansas, the daughter of William Henry and Minnie Bell (Carlisle) Slaughter.
Frances worked for Campbell Soup for over thirty years. She helped on site of Farmington Senior Center Advisory Council for several years. She was active in football and basketball in Farmington. She was active in church VBS. She had a collection of over 3,500 dolls. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Taylor; Brothers, Jack, Bill, Pete, Jim, George "Pug", Gibby and Gordon Slaughter; Sisters, Christine Risley, Wanda Shreves and Lois Gage.
Survivors include her daughter, Lindy Sue Phillips and husband Loy; two sons, Ernie Taylor and wife Nora and James Taylor and wife Terri; eleven grandchildren, Chipper Phillips, Karen White, Christy Phelan, Jerry Thomas, Tommy Thomas, Michael Taylor, Kim Garner, Jimmy Thomas, Melissa Gresham, Sarah Brock and Nathan Taylor; twenty four great grandchildren, Bethany Helzer, Kayla Ray, Dalton Phillips, Shyla Rogers, Cami Martin, Shelby White, Lauren Valentine, Cassidy Thomas, Kristen McCoy, Britney Thomas, Abby Thomas, Cody Phelan, Jay Taylor Gresham, Claira Gresham, Coley Taylor, Madilyn Taylor, Chase Garner, Britton Garner, Taylor Garner, Maecy Garner, Dallas Taylor, Anastyn Taylor, Sidney Brock and Rylan Brock; eight great-great grandchildren, Zach Helzer, Skylar Helzer, Zaylee Helzer, Ivory Martin, Ardie Martin, Liam McCoy, Jaxxon Rogers and Brooke Rogers.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery.
