Trish Spurgin, "29", went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2008. She was born in Sumter, South Carolina on September 7, 1946.
She was a member of the New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church. She blessed many with her friendship, musical talent, creativity, and love of life. She was preceded in death by her father Wesley Y. Jordan, Jr., and is lovingly remembered by her mother, Lois E. Jordan of West Fork, one brother, Wesley C. Jordan of Prairie Grove, and her husband of thirty-six years, Larry Spurgin. She will remain alive in the hearts of her son and two daughters and their spouses and children; Dan Smock of West Fork and his children Justin and Cheyenne, Debbi and Roger Benish of Farmington and their daughter Makenzie, and Heather and Randy Sigmon of Farmington and their children Kaci and Coy. She will also be fondly remembered by a host of other very special relatives and friends whose lives she touched through her own. Her legacy and strength of faith will live on.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove on Monday, February 4, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2008 - 10:00 A.M. at the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church near Prairie Grove with brother Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the McDonald Cemetery near Hogeye, Arkansas. Services will be concluded at the Church.
Pallbearers will be Dan Smock, Randy Sigmon, Roger Benish, Nick Jordan, Donny Hubbs, and Bobby Kildow.
