DEATHS Mrs. T. M. Blakemore Mrs. T. M. Blakemore peacefully fell asleep, at her home in Prairie Grove, in the early morning of Sunday, August six 1926, after gust 29, months of suffering. Pulaski

She was born in Arkansas, near Little county, 1855, and de- Rock, July 13, parted this life at the age of one month seventy-one years, and sixteen days.

She was Miss Jane Pickett Allen, before her marriage on September 1879, to Thomas, as M. Blakemore. To his union 7 children were born : Miss Emma Blakemore, of this city, Mrs. W. R. Walker, Magnolia, Ark, Mrs. C. S. Sanders, Mid West, Wyo., C. A. Blakemore, Monett, Mo., W. W. A. Blake- J. F. Houston, Tex., Dr. more, Blakemore, Van Buren, and J. Blakemore, R. Prairie Grove, at the funeral. all were present Blakemore Mrs. professed faith in Christ in girlhood and with the Methodist united church. After her marriage, she united with the Cumber- land Presbyterian church with her husband. She took a great interest in the welfare of her church active and was an worker and regular attendant until strickened by disease last March.

Mrs. Blakemore was a intelligence and of woman of rare virtures of character. She was of a quiet and unassuming disposition and never displayed her real worth to the world. Yet her friends soon learned to estimate her at her true value. They knew her as one of those modest women whose characearth. ter is the very salt of the devoted wife and more A mother is seldom found. Hospitality, kindness, sympathy, and helpfulness true are virtues that shown out in her life. She knew how to make the visitor feel welcome in her house; and outside the those many are home who tell of the good deeds she did in their behalf.

Besides her husband and children, she leaves one brother. C. A. Allen, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and large a I circle of relatives and friends mourn to her departure. The funeral service was held from the Cumberland church, conducted by Rev. J. Frank Turner, assisted by Rev. E. G. Downs of Van Buren.
