Troy Jesse Curtsinger
77 a resident of Prairie Grove passed away February 29, 2016 at his home. He was born September 10, 1938 in Aberdeen, Washington, the son of Henry Jefferson and Nona Mae Nash Curtsinger.
When he was around two years old his family moved to Prairie Grove where he attended school. In 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Bateman. He was a retired auto enthusiast who enjoyed showing antique cars. After his children were grown he and Margaret traveled the US and Canada with the ISCA and Super Chevy Car Associations for 10 years. He was a master craftsman who could create, build or repair anything. Over the years he was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, built many houses around town, made tooled leather items, customized many cars and attended any sporting events that his children or grandchildren were involved in.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Margaret Curtsinger.
Survivors include three sons, Barrett Curtsinger and wife Gwen; Scott Curtsinger and wife LaDonna, and John Curtsinger and wife Tonya all of Prairie Grove; one daughter Kandy Curtsinger of Prairie Grove; ten grandchildren, Ryan, Jarrett, Shanda, Brandie, Britton, Ethan, Alexa, Dalton, Carly and Cameryn and ten great grandchildren and one brother William "Bill" Curtsinger and wife Erma of Golden City, Missouri.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Friday March 4, 2016 - 2:00 P.M. Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ryan Cook, Ethan Curtsinger, Jarrett Curtsinger, Barrett Curtsinger, Dalton Curtsinger, John Curtsinger, and Scott Curtsinger.
