Lydia was addopted by Wayne Elliott
Wayne N. Elliott age 89, of Bismarck passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Arkadelphia. He was born November 26, 1925 to Deemas and Althea Cosby Elliott. Wayne was retired from Junge Bread Company and was a member of Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Wayne served in the U. S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was captured by the German Army at the Battle of the Bulge.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Romana Elliott; three brothers, Leslie, Dick and Buster Elliott; two sisters, Verda Phillips and Mural Higgins.
Survivors are his wife, Ovella Elliott; three daughters, Lidia (Jack) Clark of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Joyce (Lanney) White of Rogers, Arkansas, Beverly (Lewie) Wallace of Lafayette, Indiana; step-children, Barbara (Bob) Watson of Bismarck, Brenda (James) Davis of Arkadelphia, Olivia (Roger) Harrod of Maumelle, David (Becky) Bost and Dr. Dan (Kelley) Bost all of Arkadelphia; twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one niece, Virginia Fields of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Visitation will 6-8 PM Friday, August 21st at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22nd at Caney Missionary Baptist Church with Ralph Ruffin and Greg Latham officiating.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 2:00 PM Monday, August 24th at Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas.
