Notes

Charles Lee Foster

On Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville Charlie Foster left his earthly body while forever leaving his mark on all of us.

He was born December 19, 1950 in Prairie Grove, the son of Charles Franklin and Virginia (Weber) Foster.

Charlie was a lifelong resident of Prairie Grove, a faithful member of Center Street Church of Christ, and he served in the Army National Guard. He was known to many as "Car Sales Charlie" as he sold vehicles for over 40 years.

One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with the Coffee Shop Crew. His boisterous laughter was immeasurable and fueled first and foremost, by his Lord and Savior, love for his wife, Judy Thurman Foster of 50 years, as well as his overwhelming pride and the joy for his children and grandchildren - his loves and legacies.

He loved teaching his children and grandchildren priceless life lessons. He took every opportunity to make treasured memories at the lake, the mountains, hunting trips - wherever the next step led from the backyard to the creekbank, but always including his family in his adventures were his top priority.

His heart to serve and give his Honduras family was unsurpassed as he shared Jesus. The children won his heart immediately and with the relationships built over the years, Charlie left his mark on their hearts as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Jimmy, Marvin, and Dale Foster.

His legacy includes his wife Judy Thurman Foster; son Brad Foster and his wife Brandy of Prairie Grove and their children- Beau, Gracie, Charli, Ruthie, and Finn; daughter Janet Cobb and her husband Justin of Prairie Grove and their children- Maddie, Morgan, and Ryder; son Kyle Foster and his wife Mindy of Fayetteville and their children- Micah, Kenzie, Ellie, and Bright; son Scott Foster and his wife Amelia of Fayetteville and their daughter Millie; one brother Wayne Foster and his wife Annette; three sisters Anita Meadors, Mary Sue Rice and her husband Donnie, and Helen Carter and her husband Wayne; two sisters-in-law Mary Helen Foster and Joy Watson Foster; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 P.M. until 5 P.M. The family will not be present.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 - 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Grove Battlefield Park Bandstand in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
