Ollie Faye Beeks, age 73, of Farmington passed away July 13, 2014. Ollie was born June 9, 1941, in Fayetteville, Ark., to parents Marion and Della Beeks.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1961, assisting in Birmingham, Ala., during desegregation. Ollie worked for periods as a rodeo clown, deputy sherriff for Washington County, dairy farmer and teacher at NTI. In recent years, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for several companies in Northwest Arkansas.
Ollie was a loving father and true friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; both parents; two brothers, Marvin and Ira; sister, Erma; and stepdaughter, Lanna.
He is survived by three children, Gary Kilpatrick, Connie Gayer and Pam McCool; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 1 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
