1. Joseph Kester, born 1885 Madison County, Arkansas,
married Iva Dunagan in 1905, died 1958 in Morrow, Arkansas.
He was a stonemason. Their children were Vera (married
Morrow), born 1906, Marie (married Wilhite), born 1918, and
Joe Ray, born 1920.
2. Rachel Alta, born 1886 in Madison
County, Arkansas, married James Loftin, 1906, died 1972 in
Morrow, Arkansas. Their children were Charley, Irene (married
Loftin), born 1909, Clyde, Glenn and Dean.
3. George Washington, born 1888 Madison County, Arkansas, married Lina
Clanton of Skylight Mountain, Arkansas 1906, died in Texas,
where he was a minister. Their children were Edna (married
Fields), born 1908, Edward "Buck", born 1911, Esther (married
Jones then Tipps), born 1915, G. W. "Wayne", born 1918, Ruth
(married Price), born 1924 and Daniel, born 1927.
4. Charles William, born 1890 in Grayson County, Texas, married Nora
Eleanor West, March 6, 1910 in Odell, Arkansas, died June 27,
1919 at Cane Hill, Arkansas, buried at Cox Cemetery near Clyde.
Their children were Charles Noah, born December 25, 1910 in
Odell, married Zula Walker, remarried Nellie Myers, 1937, died
1968, Lincoln, buried Beaty Cemetery. Their children were: Lillian
Laverne, born November 5, 1938, married Charles
Sanderson, 1963, had Francine; Betty Ann, born December 23,
1941, married Johnny McGarrah, had Kevin and Annell; Charles
James, born March 10, 1946, married Caroll Marie Dean, had
Cynthia Marie, Charles Jeremy and Justin Dean. Noah worked
as a carpenter, and his children remained in the Siloam Springs -
Tahlequah area.
Harvey Arnold was born August 31, 1912,
married Ina Nay Walker in 1931, Fly Creek. Their children were
Bobby Ray, born June 15, 1933, married Bernice Adcock, 1951,
remarried Juanita Faddis, 1960 had Dwight, Valeda, Virgil,
Benita and Vera Marie; Joy Lee, born 1938, married Alfred
James had Sherry Lee, Cindy Ann, Samuel Todd and Randy. Of
these, Sherry married Leslie Hougland and had Leslie and Julie,
Cindy married Marvin David Anderson, had Lori. Harvey
worked as a truck driver and dairy farmer, and his children
remained in the Tahlequah area. Floyd Denver was born March
10, 1916, married Carmyn Gem Morrow (see Clark) had Gemma
Denele, married Steve Campbell, had Deste Gem, Jebediah Carl
and Katie Laine - West Fork area, Demara Lisa, married Marvin
Banks, had Summer Sonnet - Fayetteville, Thomas Winter,
married Angie Copeland, had Jaron Karsten and Christie Charis
- Amarillo, Texas, Autumn Samuel and Peri Scarlett - both unsettled.
Floyd was a music teacher and piano tuner-technician,
and remains in Fayetteville. Opal Ruvena, was born October 13,
1917, married Joseph DeBrosse had Diane Marie, later remarried
Lloyd Tucker. Opal was a school teacher, and lives at Mesa,
Arizona. Eleanor May stillborn on August 8, 1928 - Nora fell off
a hay wagon while pregnant with this child. Verna Inez, born
July 14, 1932, married Thomas Rogers (Springdale) and Leslie
Steven, died in infancy, Deborah Lea, married Dennis Sprouse,
Tulsa, had Abbie Renae and Daniel, Valerie Layne married Phillip
Eberhart - Texas, Thesa Elizabeth, married Kevin Loving -
Tulsa. Verna is a music teacher, and lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
5. Archie Hiram, born 1892 in Washington County, Arkansas,
married Sena Johnson in 1916, died 1978 in California, but he
lived mostly in Tulsa. Their children were Afton, Juanita,
Pauline and Leonard.
6. Lettie May, born 1895 in Grayson
County, Texas, married Charles Unger in 1911, died 1970 in
Fayetteville. Their children were Lee Marion, born 1913,
married Alloween Cook, died 1981 in Washington County, had
Kenneth Lee and Linda Jane, moved to California; Alice Daisy,
born 1914, married Robert Hale, had six children, remarried to
Cummings - Texas. Ray Hubert, born 1918 married Lavada
Hodge of Oklahoma, had five children. Denver Paul, born 1918,
died 1977 in Fayetteville, worked at the University of Arkansas
in Fayetteville. Aubrey Mae, born 1920 married Walter McCord
- Kansas - had five children. Buster Hollis, born 1922, married
Mary Ellen Bruce (Fayetteville - had Melpha Dean who married
Drymon of Lowell, had Bruce, Gerald Dwayne, in Fayetteville,
then remarried Maurice Southern in Fayetteville, had Lisa.
Buster worked at Shipley's Bakery, Fayetteville. Charles Mack,
born 1924, married Lewa Fern Prather (Washington County) had
Steven Paul (career Navy) and Sue Ellen (teacher). Sarah
Lucinda, born 1926, married Argel Lavoyd Gage in Washington
County, had Karen Sue married Carl Rangland, Judy Lynn,
married Robert Parrish (Washington County Sheriff Deputy) had
Robyn Lynn and Christopher) they live at Winslow; Gary Ronald
(married Sandy Treet, had Stacy Lavoyd and Travis (Fayetteville)
remarried Betty Winn, had Bo, remarried Beverly Ward, had
Rachael. Bessie Pearl, born 1928, married Herman Logue (born
1923 in Fayetteville) had Jeanetta Lou (married Gary Whittaker,
had Kimberly Ann, James and Mindy in Washington County,
Arkansas). Jeanetta remarried Brice Salsberry, Fayetteville,
Marilyn (married Michael Bidwell in Fayetteville and had Michael
- remarried Larry Fisher, Fayetteville). Nettie Florence, born
1930, married Glen Courtney, had Ronald Glen, married
Deborah Dupechin, had Christina Nicole and Katrina Marie,
remarried Gay Pinkerton (Karber), now of Fayetteville, Gerald
Duane, married Elizabeth Wantland, had Brenton Duane,
remarried Deon Lane, had Ashley Renee and Matthew Blake -
now of Garfield, Cheryl Ann (married Danny Dorman, had
Danny who died in infancy, Cherri Melissa and Melanie Dawn -
of Fayetteville) and David Lyn, married Vickey Osburn Arnold -
West Fork.
7. Lorraine, born 1897 in Grayson County, Texas.
Married Dan Redmon in 1913 in Oklahoma, had Hazel, Hallah,
Julia, Dan, Jr., Oran and Rosetta. Lorraine later married Rex
Keck in 1965 in California, and died in 1983. 8. Mary Emmaline
born 1899 in Grayson County, Texas, married Ivory Brunner,
1916 Stilwell, Oklahoma. They had Faustine, Ruby Ilene and
Muri. 9. John Bunion, born 1901 in Grayson County, Texas,
married Eula Myers, 1925 in Josephine, Texas, died in 1983 in
Texas, where he had served as a minister. Their children were
Harold, Verdelle, Charles, J. D., Joel, Arla Mae, Bonnie, Wanda
and James.
