Age 81, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born February 5, 1939 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Omer and Lillian (Sharp) Keck.
Myrlene retired from Tyson's Mexican Original. She was a homemaker and enjoyed get togethers with her family. It was rare for her to miss one of her grandchildren's sporting events, she was always there to cheer them on. She spent the last ten years enjoying time with her youngest granddaughter Kenna, and endless hours on the phone with her twin sister Geraldine whom she loved dearly. Through her courageous battle with cancer she kept a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Blanche McCarty and Norma Rae Reed.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Verl West; two sons Rick West and his wife Connie of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kent West of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters Geraldine McDonald and her husband Wayne of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and sister Carol Adair and her husband Barker of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren Jordyn Godfrey and her husband Ryan of Dallas, Texas, Colton West of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kenna West of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Kamri Garrison and her husband Brady of Livingston, Texas; two great grandchildren Brantlee and Karoline Garrison of Livingston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their appreciation to some special caregivers: Monica, Bobbie, Catherine and Thomas along with the rest of the staff at Willard Walker Hospice.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 24th, 2020, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
