(12) HARVEY HENDERSON 4 EDMISTON, (adopted son of David c.,3), was born 1817, in Tennessee; married in Washington Co., Ark., to Lucinda Caroline Gray, born 7 Oct 1825; died, probably before 1870.
Their farm home was adjacent to that of David Crawford Edmiston.
On 26 April 1871 H.H. Edmiston, Henderson Bates, and Thomas Donegan were appointed to divide the estate of J.W. Stout.
On 31 March 1875, Mary J. McCartie executed a note for $895.28 to Harvey H. Edm1eton.
On 8 Feb, l8Tl, J.W. Shook and wife sold to H.H. Edmiston, for $532, a tract of 86 acres.
On 18 Dec. 1879, H. H. Edm1ston sold land to s. F. Gray, but no wife signed. His wife may have been dead by this time,
On 6 Dec, 1880, Z, B. Edmiston vas appointed administrator for the estate of Harvey H. Edmiston, , and gave bond for $5000.00 with W.B. Welch and S.F. Gray as security.
On 9 March 1881, the administrator report that sufficient funds are available to pay all obligations and pay each of the heirs (seven) the sum of $250.00.
Residue of estate amounted to $2,294, 74 and final settlement was made on 4 Jan 1884.
