Miss Maggie Broyles Died at Farmington.
Miss Maggie Broyles died at the home of her mother, Mrs. I. N. Broyles near Farmington, Thursday morning May 3d, after a painful illness following an attack of appendicitis, July 13, 1916.
This is the second time death has entered this family, as only five weeks ago the father, Mr. Isaac N. Broyles was laid to rest.
The deceased was born near Farmington April 9, 1882, where she has spent her entire life. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Bethel Grove. Although great sufferer she was patient and loving to those who waited anxiously by her bedside, longing for her recovery. Beside her mother. she is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Ed. Borden of Jerome. idabo, Mrs. Ed. McKec of Plainview, Texas, Mrs. John Clayton, Mrs. Hardey White, Mrs. Eugene Dorman and Miss Oma Broyles of Farmington. The funeral will take place from Bethel Grove church Friday morning, Rev. Geo. Pond officiating, and the body will be laid to rest beside her father in the Farmington cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in which they live in this sad affliction.
