Notes

Mr. Walter Beaver Dead.

Mr. Walter Beaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Bearer, died at his home in the Bethel Grove neighborhood Tuesday night, after a brief illness of measles followed by pneumonia.

The deceased was born July 31, 1891 and was in the prime of young manhood. He was united in marriage with Miss Elnore Tucker, October, 1915. While in his teens he made a profession of faith in Christ and united with the Little Elm Church. He was an exemplary young man and held in high esteem in the neighborhood where he was born and reared, and his untimely death has caused much sorrow in many homes where he was much beloved.

The funeral took place at the Little Elm church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. C. S. Farmer, assisted by Rev. John F. Parker. Beside his wife he leaves mother, father, three brothers, Messrs. Frank, Lester and Robert Beaver, and four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Talkington, Misses Lora, Myrtle and Opal Beaver, to mourn the loss of a good and devoted son and brother.
