Funeral services fro Charles Oscar Mensch, 65, of Tyler, Texas, were held March 9, at Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Bro. George Jackson officiating.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1933 in the Summers, AR area to Eurie Mensch and Ariona K (Jordan) Mensch. He died March 6, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, TX,
He was married to Clara Poo. on Aug. 20, 1956.
He worked as a production supervisor for 17 years at Dallas Tube and Roll Form. He owned a Phillips 66 service station in Bartlesville and was a supervisor at Emory Chemical for 10 years in Santa Fe Springs, CA. He also worked at Sellers Manufacturing in Dewey and worked at Mansfield, TX as a plant manager.
He attended Summers Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Clara Mensch of the home in Tyler, TX; two sons, Charles William Mensch and wife Janice of Carrolton, TX and Garland Eugene Mensch and wife Jackie of Bartlesville; one daughter, Joy Dianne King and husband Paul of Whitehouse, TX; one sister, Fannie Luther and husband Forrest of Siloam Springs, AR; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
