Former Cherryvale resident Ada Mae Boyd, 87, of Coffeyville, died at 12;45pm Tuesday (April 15, 1986) in Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Boyd was born June 6, 1898 in Mapleton to Henry and Ida (Blagg) Dwyer. She lived in Cherryvale since the age of seven, moving to Doffeyville in 1979.

In 1914 she married Arthur Clark, who died in 1918. On May 2, 1920, she married P. O. Boyd in Iola.

Mrs. Boyd worked at Electra in Independence, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Cherryvale United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband: a son, Leon of Dallas, two daughter, Thelma Kelly of Cherryvale and Maxine Dugger of Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10an Friday in the Darling and Burns Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Thursday.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Thursday at Darling and Burns Chapel.

A memorial has been established in her name with the Cherryvale United Methodist Church.
