Rudd, Carroll County, Arkansas
ISHMAEL WEBB, a resident of Rudd, Arkansas, was born November 17, 1913, in Rudd, Arkansas, a son of Emory and Clara (Howerton) Webb. He departed this life Tuesday, October 30, 2007, in his home in Rudd, Arkansas, at the age of 93.
Ishmael was a farmer and a member of the Metalton United Baptist Church.
On November 7, 1989 he was united in marriage with his second wife Stella Ruth Whiteley who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Joy Webb of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Carroll Webb of Green Forest, Arkansas, and Dwain Webb of Hollister, Missouri; one daughter, Betty Morgan of Springdale, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three step-daughters; three step-sons; a sister, Dixie Miller of Berryville; a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren and other family members and a host of friends.
On April 8, 1934 Ishmael was united in marriage with his first wife, Annie May Miller who preceded him in death after 53 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Rice.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2007, from 5 until 8:00 P.M. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Gobbler Church with Brother Jerry Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow in the Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
