Mrs. Madeline DuRell, 48, Rt. 1, Fayetteville, died March 27 in Washington Regional Medical Center. Born June 17, 1926 at Japton, she was the daughter of Fred and Lizzie Ross Rogers and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence A. DuRell of the home; one son, Roger B. DuRell of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Jackson, Fayetteville; three brothers, Luther Rogers and Kenneth Rogers, Fayetteville, and Earl Rogers, Gentry; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Logue, Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Lorene Merritt, Beeville, Tex., Mrs. Goldie Jackson, Mrs. Alta McCarver, and Mrs. Ola Sims, Fayetteville; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were Saturday, march 29, at 2 p.m. in Brashears Funeral Chapel, Huntsville, with the Rev. George West officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, under the direction of Brashears.

Pallbearers were Curtis Lee Sims, Cecil Sugg, Wes Sone, Butch Rogers, Larry Joe Rogers and Alvin Gene Rogers.
