Marjorie Lucille (Unger) Goldman died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the age of 75 years and 11 days. She was born January 21, 1931 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Bush and Lucy (Ross) Unger. When Marjorie was 21 days old, at the death of her mother, Claude and Stella (Rose) Unger took her and raised her as their daughter.
She married Troy Goldman on November 7, 1946 in Crawford County, Arkansas. To this union 3 children were born: Lee Roy Goldman, Troy Wayne Goldman and Sandra Kay Brown. She enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters: Myrtle Sparks, Minnie Lovejoy, Irene Russell, Maxine Unger, and Helen Eli; and two brothers: Garland Unger and Charlie Unger.
She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Troy Goldman of the home in Stilwell; two sons: Lee Roy Goldman and wife Joann of Evansville, and Troy Wayne Goldman and wife Kay of Stilwell; one daughter: Sandy Brown and husband Roy of Stilwell; two sisters: Lenora Workman and Atha Jean Stephenson; four brothers: Bush Unger, Jr., George Unger, Monroe Unger, and Jim Unger; seven grandchildren: Greg Goldman, Ryan Goldman, Jennifer Harris, Billy Goldman, Mike Goldman, Gerald Brown and Cindy Holloway; and 11 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ewing Chapel Cemetery in Stilwell, with Bro. Jim Sparks and Bro. Wiley Lovejoy officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
