Troy Roy Goldman, son of W.E. and Stella Hopkins Lovejoy and adopted son of Walter and Dora Goldman, was born on October 10, 1928 in Crawford County, Arkansas and passed from this life on Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 20 days. At the age of 5 years and 2 months, Troy was adopted by Walter and Dora Goldman. They raised him as their own and provided a safe and happy home for him. He was a farmer, hard worker and good provider for his family. Troy enjoyed his family and deeply appreciated any and all time that he was able to spend with them. He enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. His presence will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Preceding him in death were his parents: W.E and Stella Lovejoy, adopted parents: Walter and Dora Goldman, his wife: Margie Goldman, twin brother: Toy Lovejoy, brothers: J.W. Sidebottom, Doc Lovejoy, Guy Lovejoy, twin sisters: Flo Womack and Florence Chavis. He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Lee Roy Goldman and wife Joann of Evansville, AR, Troy Wayne Goldman and wife Sharon Kay, Sandy Brown and husband Roy, all of Stilwell, 7 grandchildren: Greg Goldman and wife Alysha, Ryan Goldman and wife Kelly, all of Evansville, Jennifer Harris and husband Bryson of Lincoln, AR, Billy Goldman of Morrow, AR, Mike Goldman of Dyer, AR, Gerald Brown and Lucinda Holloway, both of Stilwell, 13 great grandchildren, half brothers: Myrl Lovejoy and wife Lea Ella, Bennett Lovejoy and wife Lynda of Evansville, sister: Charline Shelley of Tahlequah, OK. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Graveside services were held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Jim Sparks officiating.
