Age 76, a resident of Strickler, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born September 8, 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Cleo and Ruby (Caskey) Lindabury.
Linda had a fierce love for God and her family who were of the utmost importance to her. She always put others first and made sure everyone around her was cared for. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. Her shooting skills were second to none and she always brought home more bucks than anyone else at deer camp. Not only was she a skilled hunter, she was an avid reader as well. Linda was a one of a kind wife, mother, and nanny. She will be missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Ruby Lindabury, three sisters Dorothy McDaniels, Deloris Steele and Mary Beeks, three brothers Charles Lindabury, Earl Lindabury and Robert Lindabury.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years Thomas Carter; one daughter Sheila Johnson and her husband Terry of Elkins, Arkansas; two brothers Kenneth Lindabury and his wife Rita of Springdale, Arkansas, and Larry Lindabury and his wife Nancy of West Fork, Arkansas; one sister Faye Dunaway of Shreveport, Louisiana; one granddaughter Heather Roberts and her husband Reed of Elkins, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:00-11:00 AM at Luginbuel Chapel with funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will be in the Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held.
