Michael Neil Samuels passed on Wednesday, August the 5th. He was born in Fayetteville, AR on December 18, 1948, the son of McKinley and Elsie Samuels.
He graduated from Farmington High School in 1967. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served as a Spec 5 in the 4th Armored Division in Zirndorf, Germany. Michael spent most of his life working as a plumber.
Michael was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan and brother, Darrel, father-in-law, Lester Allison and mother-in-law, Pearl Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Samuels; parents, McKinley and Elsie Samuels; brother Greg Samuels; sons, Eric Samuels and wife, Leslie McLain of Austin, TX, Adam Samuels and fiancé Susan Penn of Fayetteville, AR; daughter, Allison Bell and husband Matt Bell of Fayetteville, AR; and four grandchildren that brought him great joy, Maren, Asa, Ashley and Hannah.
Joining in celebrating Michael Samuels' life are his Sisters-in-law Kay and Glenda Samuels, Eleanor Neal and husband Gerald, Shirley Allison, Brother-in-law Larry Darlin; nephews Russell Morphis, Rob Hulse, Larkin Fourkiller, Tye Darlin, Chris Allison, Dustin and Malachi Samuels, nieces Rhonda Hulse, Kaci Johnson, and Brandi Samuels; all uncles, aunts, and cousins. Mike would not feel his "thank you" complete if his friends were not acknowledged, these who have been an integral part of the Mike and Ruby Samuels household over the years and made this life a fully loved life.
A memorial service will be held, 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 8th at the Church of Christ in Farmington. The family will receive friends for refreshments immediately following the service at the home of Mike and Ruby Samuels.
