J.J. Risinger, 93 died at home, Route 2, Paris, Sunday morning at 8:10 o'clock. A farmer east of town for 65 years, he had been a school teacher and also served as Justic of the Peace in earlier years. He was born in Louisiana, 26 March, 1857, and came to Texas at the age of nine. He was a member of the Mount Oliver Baptist Church. The funeral, Monday afternoon 2 o'clock was arranged at Brown-Roden Funeral Home, the Rev. O.L. LaRue, here and the Rev. Frank Marshall, Fort Worth, officiating. Burial was to be made in Union Grove Cemetery. Mr. Risinger married Miss Rosa Hendrix in1884 and she died in 1902, their children being Mrs. Frank Hearn, Mrs. Ed Elliott, Charlie Risinger and Henry Risinger, all of Paris, TX. In 1906 he married Miss Melissa Ozella Barnett, and she and these children surive also: Joe W. Risinger, Tommy Risinger, Sam Risinger, James Risinger and Mrs. Bob Binder, all of Paris, TX; Mrs. Lawrence Dawson, Lubbock, TX; Mrs. W.A. Lunceford, Winnsboro, TX and a step daughter, Mrs Ruth Wilson, living in Minnesota; 31 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Pink Anderson, McAlester, OK and Mrs. George Bell of Compton, CA;
